Decals adhere to any smooth surface (walls, windows, mirrors, etc.) as long as the surface is smooth.
Your paint must be water-based. Decals will not stick to oil- or silicone-based paints.
Suitable paint finishes include matt or semi-sheen water-based paint. High sheen or enamel paint is not compatible.
Allow at least four days for newly painted walls to dry before applying decals.
The ideal application temperature is 23°C. Walls expand and contract with weather changes, so applying decals outside this range may require you to press them down for a few weeks while they settle. If edges lift, use a blow-dryer or heat gun 20–30 cm away to warm the vinyl and press it down gently.
Cut out your shapes and plan your layout on the wall using Prestik, painter’s tape, or masking tape.
Peel the backing paper off so the front remains on the application paper and the sticky side is exposed.
Line up your decal from the top corners. Using an applicator or a credit card, scrape down and outwards to remove air bubbles. Our decals are anti-scratch, so you don’t need to worry about damaging them.
Once applied, remove the application tape by pulling it off parallel to the surface. Pulling it towards you may lift the decal.
We use high-quality vinyl. With proper care, your decals will last at least five years.
